Anyone who has been through fertility treatment using a donor, or is going through it, will know that it can be a very daunting experience. I am only at the start of my journey and already it has been a roller coaster of a ride.

I will be receiving IUI treatment using a donor. I found finding the right donor difficult. None of the profiles that I read available at my treatment clinic stood out to me. I looked to the European bank and other American banks, but again I wasn’t happy with any of them.

a successful search

I was starting to give up hope of finding a donor, until I googled UK banks and came across NUH Life. I contacted them and they called me the same day. Karen has been the one I have had all contact with from day one, and she has been amazing. She took the time to find out what I was looking for and chatted to me about any concerns I was having. From there she sent me over 5 profiles to begin with and I asked to see one. That one ended up being the donor I have chosen to use. Karen explained to me that when I saw the right one, I would know – and she was so right.

fighting my corner

There have been a few delays with my treatment clinic and that has been rather stressful for myself, but Karen was there to fight my corner and keep reassuring me that all would be well. Getting the donor samples transferred to my treatment clinic was a very simple process and was done extremely quickly.

Karen and her team have been excellent throughout this stage, and even now Karen still offers me advice and reassurance about anything I am unsure of. You will not find better service anywhere else. They care about their clients and that shows.

I will forever be thankful to NUH Life, and I hope I am contacting them again soon to let them know my treatment has been successful.
